There are two types of skin cancer; melanoma, the deadliest form of which around 13,000 new cases are diagnosed each year in the UK, and non-melanoma, of which there are more than 100,000 new cases diagnosed every year.

One of these types is non melanoma skin cancer and actinic keratosis.Nonmelanoma skin cancer and

actinic keratosis often appear as a change in the skin.certain tests and examination are used to diagnose these types of skin cancer .

Any skin growth or change that doesn’t go away for a long time, whether painful or not should be reported to your doctor as it can be a sign of skin cancer .
